    An opportunity has arisen for an Supply Chain Administrator to join our team in Haydock. 

    What you’ll need:

    • Reduce the number of miscellaneous & generic codes being utilised to purchase capex and sales and repair items across the group.
    • Identify product codes and review suppliers chosen in line with preferred suppliers listings in order to approve purchase orders raised by depots on miscellaneous codes (c99misc-s) and other generic codes, in the first instance. To ensure that this is the most commercial advantageous way to buy the goods.
    • Advise depots in how to search for the correct product codes
    • Track the reasons why depots are having to buy outside of specific codes and preferred suppliers listings
    • Understand all product ranges on offer.
    • Suggest improvements to the process that can be made to lessen the need of using miscellaneous codes
    • Liaise with Purchase order approval team to ensure kpi’s on PO turnaround time are met and co-ordinate efforts
    • Provide reports on a monthly basis identifying, number of misc codes used, against the number of these were a product code pre-exists, the suppliers utilised, savings made, trends across locations, identifying where improvements are needed
    • Administrative functions, as required, such as scanning documentation, filing, answering telephone etc.
    • Providing admin assistance to Supply Chain Managers, when required.
