     HSS Hire is the UK’s leading tools and equipment Hire Company. You may not have heard of us before but you’ve probably seen our vehicles delivering our broad range of equipment from ladders and drills to plant and access equipment. We are now on the lookout to find a new and experienced Operations Manager to join our team in one of our busy Distribution centres.

    We Make It Happen. You’ll lead, coach and manage an Operations team and be accountable for ensuring company metrics within the distribution centre, including jobs per vehicle, gate time, stock utilisation, customer deliveries/ collects and T&R Levels.

    We Make It Better. You’ll be proactive! Whether you are arranging deliveries or developing operation improvements, your focus should be on cost reduction and customer satisfaction. You will also promote and ensure compliance and ensure personal and collective actions taken within the DC are in the best interest of the company.
