    Due to further successful growth, we are now looking for a motivated and professional Area Manager to join our regional sales team covering our established West of Scotland territory. In this challenging yet rewarding role, you will drive our expansion by actively promoting the hire of ground support equipment and other Groundforce products and services to a portfolio of existing and new clients, in order to achieve budgeted levels of revenue.

    Our ideal candidate will reside in the West of Scotland area preferably to the West of Newhouse. A proven track record in construction sales is essential and preferably within the Plant / Equipment rental sector is required. Experience within shoring, groundworks or formwork would be advantageous for the role as would a technical background, though not essential.

    You will work closely with our other Area managers, liaise with the internal sales, hire operations and customer support services in order to ensure the customers’ requirements are met to the highest standard. This is a client focused position and you will work in a professional manner whilst adhering to company policies and procedures at all times.

    This position would ideally suit a highly driven sales professional who has solid knowledge of the construction sector and who has experience in a sales environment. We are looking for someone who can identify opportunities, present information clearly, pitch solutions and close sales. Naturally excellent communication skills coupled with a customer oriented approach and having a great attitude and desire to succeed, are prerequisites.
