The Role:
As part of our newly created Central Logistics team, based at our Glasgow Head Office, the Logistics Manager will be responsible for planning and managing all tanker servicing activities. The Logistics Manager will play an integral part in building and developing our Central Logistics team whilst creating and implementing the Central Logistics planning processes. The successful candidate will work closely with our customers and local depot teams to ensure all tankering services are met within expected timeframes and maintaining strong working relationships with our customers. Effective route planning and regular vehicle maintenance checks are a crucial part of the Logistics Manager role and will require regular monitoring and evaluation to create efficiencies where applicable.
