    The Role:

    Our nationwide Lifting division hires a range of equipment including hoists, slings and winches to companies within the construction, utilities and infrastructure sectors.

    GAP’s TIC (Test, Inspection & Certification) team are responsible for maintaining over 70.000 items of lifting equipment located from Lands’ End to John O’Groats. Based in our Leeds depot the TIC Services Controller will be part of a support team that ensures equipment is inspected on time and is compliant with regulations.

    Applicants should have:

    • Proven experience within an administrative role scheduling works, managing team diaries and dealing with customer queries
    • Excellent customer service skills both over the phone and via email
    • Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment whilst managing conflicting priorities
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word
    • Candidates with experience of working in the lifting equipment industry would be preferred although this is not essential as full training will be provided.


    PLEASE NOTE - This role will involve travel to our depots in the South of England for a minimum of 2 days every second month so overnight stays will be required.
