    We are currently looking to appoint an Transport Planner to join our team in Morley. You will be responsible for delivering efficiency on all our transport movements accurately and in line with our customer service level agreements.

    Working with your line manager you will also collate the transport related management data, ensuring that all the movements are undertaken within the most cost effective manner. This will involve working with internal external customers requiring you to have excellent communication and organisational skills.

    Skills & experience required :


    • Knowledge of shoring/hire industry advantageous
    • Knowledge of construction/housing/civil engineering industry advantageous.
    • Good geographical knowledge of region/UK essential. Geographical knowledge of Europe desirable.
    • Ability to interpret digital tachographs advantageous.
    • Knowledge of the EU working time directive.
    • Knowledge of LGV service regimes advantageous.
    • Knowledge of transport compliance/accreditation schemes, i.e. Crossrail, TFL, FORS, etc., advantageous.
    • Knowledge of driver CPC requirements advantageous.

    I.T. Skills:


    • Basic computer literacy – MS Office/Outlook skills
    • Knowledge of G42 or other similar hire rental asset management systems advantageous
    • Knowledge of transport fleet management/scheduling software advantageous.
    • Excellent telephone manner and also email structuring skills essential.
