We have seen a radical re-engineering of group activities with a move from a broadly based plant hire enterprise to specialist equipment outsourcing businesses, which has proved very successful.

    The group currently comprises 6 business divisions: Groundforce & TPA Roadways; UK Forks; Airpac Bukom Oilfield Services; Hire Station, Torrent Trackside and TR Group. The head office is located at Central House in Harrogate.

    Our businesses offer the rental and sale of specialist products and associated services to a diverse range of end markets, including construction, civil engineering, rail, water, oil and gas, outdoor events and housebuilding.

    Our Long Eaton Shared Service Centre currently has a vacancy for a Management Accountant to join their team. The successful applicant will provide robust and continuously improving accounting and management information, to the businesses using the shared service centre.

    To be successful in this role you will be part qualified in a qualification such as ACCA or CIMA, and you may already be AAT qualified or similar. We are requiring 1-3 years’ experience in a Management Accounting, Financial accounting or Record to Report role.

    • Ability to work independently, take initiative, switch between tasks, set priorities and see projects through to completion.
      • Clear evidence of working to deadlines in a time pressured situation.
      • A hands-on approach to achieving targets and hitting deadlines
      • Ability to work well with others under deadline situations and respond to change in priorities
    • Experience of previous process improvement in an organisation.
    • A high degree of competence in Microsoft Excel.
    • Good communicator at all levels
