As a division of Vp plc, a group of 6 specialist hire businesses, MEP Hire, hire mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment alongside the low level access machines.
As our Manager, you will be accountable for the profitability and efficient running of your branch based on the site of our customer in Bishopsgate, London.
You will be required to manage and control all on site requirements including processing orders, positioning equipment as required, assisting contractors with their plant management including training and promote and develop business opportunities with on-site contractors.
Ensuring that expenditure is properly controlled, weekly stock checks are completed and any missing tools are accounted for.
The role requires effective control of on/off hires, performing counter duties along with organising the transport and ensuring the returned equipment is made available for hire in an appropriate time period. You will take responsibility for the health and safety within your branch, you must make certain that the business is compliant with HSE legislation and offers a safe working environment for the branch team as a whole but also for individual employees within their roles.
Candidates for this position must have previous management experience with the ability to develop and motivate a small team to achieve success and build positive customer relationships will Account Managers and customers alike.
You must be IT literate with a full UK driving licence, we are ideally looking for applicants with industry experience however this is not essential.
