    The Role:

    GAP Group have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Systems Innovation Manager to join our IT team and who will be responsible for three key delivery areas; Strategy, Implementation and Innovation.


    The Systems Innovation Manager will play a pivotal role in our digital transformation strategy by driving innovation and identifying new and emerging technologies. This will also include project managing the assessment, development and integration of these technologies. The Systems Innovation Manager will also be responsible for overseeing telephony systems and enterprise agreements, whilst leading and developing the Systems Development team and overseeing the IT Service Desk function.


    Successful candidates must demonstrate the following:

    • Proven experience working with Microsoft on premise, hybrid cloud technologies including Azure and management of licensing including Microsoft EA an advantage
    • Experience of working with VMware, Cisco CUCM and Networking skills would be an advantage
    • Experience of managing a support ticket system for service requests
    • Exceptional external project management skills including the scheduling and management of 3rd party providers for both project and service delivery tasks
    • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify technical solutions to address business needs
    • Good procurement and asset management skills to ensure security of IT Assets
    • Effective communicator with the ability to present IT solutions to internal and external customers and develop written documents for technical teams and end users
    • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex technical projects to tight timelines including creation of detailed and accurate project specifications
