    As a division of Vp plc, a group of 6 specialist hire businesses, MEP Hire, hire mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment alongside the low level access machines.

    We are looking to appoint a Lifting Examiner to join the team, visiting our MEP Hire and customer sites offering thorough examinations of fleeted lifting equipment in line with LOLER and PUWER regulations.

    This role is home-based, covering the Midlands region and you will ensure equipment quality reaches the required standard across the board.

    Our ideal candidate will have experience of general lifting and material handling equipment, preferably gained within a similar industry. You will have excellent communication skills and have the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.

    You will demonstrate an organised and logical approach to work from day one. Flexibility to undertake frequent travel and a full UK driver’s license is essential.

    Skills & experience required


    • LEEA (or similar) qualifications – preferable
    • Willingness to complete LEEA certification essential if not already holding the Entrance examination; LEG and LMM diplomas as a minimum
    • Practical knowledge/experience of general lifting and material handling equipment
    • Practical knowledge/experience of low level access machines an advantage
    • Valid driving licence
