    We currently have a job opportunity for a Hire Controller with relevant experience to provide customer service and develop business by converting enquiries into hire business. With specific responsibility for our fleet of equipment you will be required to develop strong relationships with our customers and our internal colleagues. Your main responsibilities will include quoting prices, taking orders and processing them  through to completion, with the aim of increasing our customer base by working directly with customers and supporting the nationwide sales team.  You will liaise with and support our depot network and transport team to ensure that we exceed customer expectations and agreed service levels.

    Skills & experience required:

    Education

    • Educated to a reasonable level to include  Maths & English

    Knowledge/background:

    • Knowledge of equipment desirable not essential
    • Experience of logistics/planning desirable

    I.T Skills:

    • Require keyboard skills and some basic systems knowledge
    • Telephone skills are essential
