    UK Forks are part of Vp plc and is the industry's leading specialist rental provider of telescopic handlers, rotational telehandlers and heavy lift machines including a wide range of attachments. Our comprehensive range of products is unique in the industry and covers every conceivable application, ranging from 4 to 20 metres and rotational telehandlers up to 35 metres.

    We currently have an HGV Driver role available to work out of our Milton Keynes depot to provide full support to your line manager delivering excellent customer service.

    You will be required to ensure all transport related transactions are completed efficiently, accurately and in line with company policies/procedures/processes and customer requirements. You will deliver and collect equipment to and from customers, suppliers and other Vp businesses professionally, safely and on time.

    Experience & knowledge required:


    • Valid full clean driving licence
    • Hgv Class 1 C + E Licence – Minimum 2 years Hgv articulated vehicle driving experience essential
    • Certificate of Professional Competence (Driver CPC) essential
    • Lorry Mounted Cranes (only) - RITB/CPCS/Allmi/NORS accredited or recognised training certificate – Minimum 2 years’ experience essential
    • Valid CSCS Site Visitor Card essential
    • Valid Banksman Slinger Training – Minimum 2 years’ experience essential
    • Attendance on a recognised vulnerable road user scheme within the last 2 years essential
    • Working knowledge of construction/housing/civil engineering industry advantageous
    • Knowledge of the local & regional geographical area essential
    •  Ability to complete records/paperwork accurately is essential
    •  A reasonable level of fitness to work with loads is essential
    •  To be flexible, trustworthy & reliable and have excellent time keeping skills essential
    •  Experienced in delivering/collecting heavy goods to construction sites advantageous
    •  Good communication , (spoken English) and interpersonal skills are essential
