We are recruiting a Business Development Managers / Area Sales Manager position for a well-known and respected Tool Hire and Plant Hire company. The position will cover the above locations, representing the Kent depot. We are looking for a Business Development Manager / Sales Manager who is a true sales professional from the 'hire' sector and the construction/building supplies sector. Someone who will deliver on promise and back up in actions what they say they'll achieve.
In this role you will start will almost a blank canvass - a true Business Development role. Our client is looking for someone to go out and go after business. Building a portfolio of new business accounts of varying sizes. It is easy to say you are a great sales professional. But we need to find someone who can demonstrate success in previous roles and someone who may have some loyal contacts in the construction sector that they could call upon. A real sales drive to capture the new business and the kudos to then develop and nurture these accounts to Key Account status.
We need a construction sales professional from the Construction sector and Building supplies industry. Tool Hire, Plant Hire - the 'Hire' sector would be preferable but by no means essential.
