    The Role:

    GAP Hire Solutions now has 8 divisions offering the hire of equipment throughout the UK. Following a record breaking year for both revenue and profit, we are keen to build on that success by recruiting the best talent the industry has to offer to help us grow even further.

    Reporting to Regional Operations Director, the On Site Manager will ensure that all business between Specified Customer and GAP Group is carried out in an efficient and effective manner.

    Key aspects of the On Site Manager role will be to:

    • Drive and motivate the team to meet objectives.
    • Representing GAP on customer site and ensuring customer requests are dealt with in line with agreements while providing highest quality of customer service
    • Take responsibility for query resolution and prevention.
    • Liaise with GAP depots to ensure that plant is available and operate and maintain spreadsheet recording all plant movement.
    • Provide weekly leakage reports and diary information
    • Oversee any problems regarding on hires and off hires and use the escalation process where necessary.

    Applicants should have:

    • Good knowledge of plant & tools and experience of hire desk systems.
    • Previous experience in a similar role within the Hire/Construction Industry
    • PC literacy, particularly Excel spreadsheets is essential
    • Good knowledge of plant & tools and experience of hire desk systems.
