  • CEO Job Purpose
    Manage the overall operations of the organisation, including product development, marketing, communications and logistics. Develop and approve strategies to meet stakeholder, member and employee needs. Demonstrate strong communication skills with people inside and outside the company to identify the policies, products, and marketing strategies that will help it move forward. Make the critical decisions that affect the company's direction, its employees and member stakeholders. This role requires a ‘hands-on’ attitude as it is totally accountable for driving consistent growth and maintaining impact within the industry.

    CEO Job Duties

    • Take the lead across all aspects of the company by reviewing how departments work together to reach company goals and by developing fresh ideas that will set the company apart from competitors
    • Determine the direction of the organisation by working with the Non-Executive Board, upper management and leading team members to create and implement strategies and goals
    • Build a positive and productive culture in the workplace by listening to employee opinions, making adjustments, and recognising the team's accomplishments
    • Define and communicate a vision for the company and take the necessary steps to make it a reality
    • Consult with members and outside entities to decide which direction the company should follow
    • Research, understand and keep up with current trends in the industry and modern business practices by consulting with peers and reading periodicals
    • Perform other duties as necessary, such as reviewing reports, making presentations to stakeholders and the board of directors, and examining how the company can increase revenue and manage expenses
    • Ensure the financial stability of the Company, managing Profit and Loss and sustainable cash flow
    • Drive and sustain member numbers at optimum levels

    CEO Skills and Qualifications
    MBA preferred, Detail Oriented, Big Picture Thinking, Strong Written Communication, Strong Verbal Communication, Networker, Organisation Skills, Prioritising, Balance, Multitasking, Industry Experience, Decisiveness, Persuasion, Flexibility, Open Schedule, Leadership Skills, Listening Skills, Business and Commercial Acumen.
