Wanted! A Dynamic Manager to take on the overall operations for our Preston depot
Smiths Equipment Hire Ltd, winners of the HAE Award 2018, are the Northwest's Largest Independent Equipment Hire Company. Currently in a period of expansion across the business.
As a business, we supply a variety customers with a range of specialist equipment. From plant machinery for large construction and industrial contracts, to domestic power tools for that DIY home improvement project.
With 12 ‘Hire It Centres’ located across the region there is no job to big or too small!
The role is busy and demanding and requires an individual with Managerial experience, we are looking for a candidate that is a well-rounded specialist, he/she will be a driving force behind the scenes, ensuring the depot is performing against all agreed targets/budgets, yet able and willing to step in when situation warrants it. Proactive, positive attitude is a must same as ability to work well with others.
As a Depot Manager you should have;

This is a full time position. Monday to Friday and rotational Saturday mornings
