To help deliver our ambitious growth plans, we are now looking to recruit a Business Development Director ideally working from our base in Yorkshire but covering the whole of the UK. The role’s primary aim is to secure and develop both existing and new revenue streams from large major customers for our Site Accommodation, Welfare and Storage product ranges. The applicant will require extensive experience of the portable accommodation hire industry as well as other sector specific products, ideally having existing relationships with customers, suppliers and manufacturers.
You will have already undertaken an Account or Business Development Management role and have significant industry experience in this market, preferably in either a senior Sales or Contract Management role.
You will have the experience, confidence and ability to positively and professionally represent Sunbelt Rentals and develop strong and successful relationships with key external stakeholders. You will also be able to demonstrate the experience and ability to lead on tender bids ensuring profitability and good ROI.
Key to success will be your ability to enable collaboration as you’ll work with the Procurement team, Tenders & Bids Team, Marketing team and all sales colleagues from across the group.
