Smith’s Equipment Hire Ltd, winners of the HAE Award 2018, are the Northwest's Largest Independent Equipment Hire Company. Currently in a period of expansion across the business, we now have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Plant / Access Engineer(s) in our Warrington Depot.
As a business, we supply all types of customers and organisations with a range of specialist equipment. From plant machinery for large construction and industrial contracts, to domestic power tools for that DIY home improvement project.
With 12 ‘Hire It Centres’ located across the region there is no job to big or too small!
Ideally we seek candidates with the ability and a working knowledge of both Plant and Access Equipment (although this is not a pre-requisite). Experience in any of the following will be a huge benefit to the role:
This is a hands-on role, in a busy team focused environment, where working swiftly and efficiently to set timelines is essential. In addition to adhering to H & S regulations, you will be willing to take on additional training where required to ensure you are equipped to carry out the required functions of the position.
It will be beneficial if you possess a CAP certification, for candidates who are seeking to gain more experience as an Access Engineer, we can offer this as training.

Working hours for this position cover Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm with Saturday mornings 8am to 12noon, on a rotational basis.
