    The role of the Foreman:

    Based in our workshop the Foreman will ensure that the workshop runs smoothly and efficiently day in day out. You will be responsible for supporting and developing your colleagues and making sure that all equipment is maintained and kept in working order at all times. 

    Applicants should have:

    • Experience working in a similar position at supervisory or managerial level
    • A relevant mechanical qualification (or time served)
    • A working knowledge of plant and tool equipment

    The role of the Fitter:

    As a Plant Mechanic you will play a pivotal role in the success of the depot. You will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a variety of plant and tools within the GAP fleet, ensuring that our customers can hire what they want, when they need it.

    Applicants should have:

    • A relevant mechanical qualification (or time served)
    • Experience in contractors plant and tools
    • A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential
