Our nationwide Plant and Tool division hires a range of equipment including diggers, dumpers and small hand tools to companies within the construction, utilities and infrastructure sectors.
Working in one of our depots, the purpose of the Chargehand is to service and maintain plant and tools whilst also organising and monitoring the workload of workshop staff. You will be responsible for ensuring that the workshop provides equipment that is ready for hire, complies with current safety regulations and is to the GAP standard.
Applicants should have:
• Experience working in a similar position
• Relevant mechanical qualification
• Experience monitoring the workload of colleagues
• Previous experience at a supervisory level
