  • What you will be doing

    We are keen to recruit an experienced Payroll Co-Ordinator to join our team at a pivotal point of change. We have recently implemented a new HR and Payroll System, SAP Successfactors so experience working with SAP would be a real advantage.

    We know our processes need to be developed, streamlined and made more efficient so we are looking for someone to dive in and question what we do whilst bringing knowledge and experience to suggest, influence and drive better ways of working.

    This is a real opportunity for someone to make the role of Payroll Co-Ordinator their own, be truly influential over the direction of how we carry out our day to day duties with the aim to free up time so that the payroll team can be involved in more exciting projects hiding in the wings!

    There is, of course, a day job to do which means you will be responsible for your own payroll/s within our group and have autonomy over how your day to day work is done. As long as our payrolls run on time, accurately and our customers are happy and cared for your payroll is your own to manage.

    Skills, knowledge and qualifcations we would expect you to have

    • Attention to detail with ability to spot irregularities in data
    • Excel knowledge including VLOOKUP, SUMIF’s and Pivot tables preferred
    • Ability to calculate gross to net
    • Be able to demonstrate knowledge in payroll legislation preferably both UK and Ireland. Knowledge of other global territories would be an advantage
    • Have working knowledge of pensions legislation
    • Up to date knowledge of payroll systems and processes (SAP experience preferred)
    • Have a working knowledge of company cars, p11d and payroll benefits
    • Ability to handle multiple conflicting priorities
    • Have experience of audit processes either internal or external
    • Have GCSE Maths & English – (Grades 4 – 9) & CIPP Qualified (to diploma level or beyond) or working towards
