  • What you will be doing

    OurTalent Acquisition Manager will lead on all aspects of planning, developing and managing the acquisition of talent, including recruitment processes and future strategies working closely with Senior business leaders, to establish and implement a talent acquisition strategy to support the delivery of the business strategy.

    Leading a small team based in our Harrogate Head Office, the Talent Acquisition Manager will draw upon their experience and extensive market knowledge to provide innovative and compelling solutions to attract talent, resource talent gaps, and ensure forecasted needs accurately reflect future growth opportunities.

    Accountable for the development of both a Graduate and Apprentice recruitment strategy to attract candidates across the UK, ensuring effective implementation and ongoing review to deliver new talent in a cost-effective way.

    Work closely with the recruitment and HR teams, overseeing the sourcing of candidates, ensuring roles are hired in line with business priorities and forecasted needs, and hiring managers are competent to implement best practice recruitment processes.

    Regularly produce and analyse high-quality reports on recruitment activity and its effectiveness, including diversity reporting. Identify and implement key recruitment related reporting metrics and processes in line with the People KPI’s.

    Maintain and develop new recruitment agency relationships, and proactively source, including the use of online, social media and direct sourcing.

    We are looking to appoint an exceptional Talent Acquisition Manager to join our expert team who will demonstrate skills and experience working in house to deliver a recruitment service that achieves results and enhances the whole life cycle of engagement.

    • Commercially aware with extensive knowledge of the recruitment market
    • Experience of sourcing and implementing results an Applicant tracking system
    • Significant experience of managing agencies and agreeing competitive terms of business
    • Leadership experience of an existing in-house talent/recruitment team within a fast paced diverse business, managing a variety of different roles (including volume and niche hiring)
    • Experience of producing talent and resourcing strategies for a high growth business
    • Up to date knowledge of current recruitment and selection practices and understanding of trends in candidate sourcing
    • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and database management and web-based ATS systems.
    • Experience gained from an operational multi-site business is highly advantageous
    • Educated to degree level (ideally)
