  • About the role

    Working alongside the Head of L&D, you’ll inspire our people with your innovative approach to learning and development. As a life-long learner, you’ll enthuse others to flourish with the rich and stretching learning experiences you create.

    Operational, behavioural, management and leadership development will see you deal with people at all levels and roles within the Group. You will need to live in the Yorkshire region as working in the Group head office in Harrogate would be regularly required you will also be required to travel throughout the UK .

    We absolutely have a passion for improving the skills, knowledge and behaviours of our people and expect you to have this in the forefront of all that you stand for in leading Learning & Development in an organisation. You will have a natural ability to communicate and influence and constantly seek out new insights and trends, whilst also having the skills to tailor what we do to a wide and varied audience.

    Our Learning & Development Manager will also demonstrate the following abilities:

    • Very strong research skills allowing for the discovery of best in class solutions
    • An ability to transform compliance matters and processes into exciting learning solutions
    • A proven track record of designing customer service training in a contact centre environment
    • Excellent design skills to create inspiring learning experiences for self-study, the training room and digital solutions
    • Outstanding relationship building and influencing skills for internal and external connections, including universities, colleges, training providers and associated organisations for
    • Thorough knowledge and insights of the latest L&D trends achieved through membership of relevant bodies or forums
    • A level 5 qualification in HR or L&D.
