Our Internal Sales Advisers are pivotal in providing support to our external sales team and branch network in arranging sales appointments and generating leads for our team of Regional Account Managers. As part of this activity you’ll be expected to produce sales quotations as well as dealing with telephone and email enquiries providing a high standard of customer service to all.
So what will you be doing..?
In the Internal Sales Adviser role you’ll primarily be expected to actively seek and identify new business opportunities within your given region. You’ll do this through contacting existing and prospective customers daily to understand their needs and how we can help them. Research will also play a part of this as you’ll need to know about any ongoing or new projects in the area that we can look to support. Making sure all customers are aware of all the products and services we provide will be important to you as upselling and cross selling will be expected so building rapport and really understanding who you’re supporting is paramount to making this a success. There will also be a level of administration involved as you produce quotations, hire contracts and reports when and where needed all complying with GDPR regulations.
What we want from you...
If you have sales experience then great but if not then still read on as we’ll help you on this journey. You will need to be eager and tenacious in your approach and pro-active in driving new business whilst using your initiative. Communicating with customers in this day and age covers a number of platforms now so you’ll be confident in using all available technologies managing these via MS Teams, email and phone, all this coupled with a keen eye for detail and a well organised approach to administration will help you succeed in this role.
