  • This pivotal role helps to compliment the service provision of the Engineered Solutions Logistics department whilst working throughout most if not all the business units within the SBR, UK operation. The fostering of a collaborative approach within the business units is essential whilst ensuring that the delivery of exceptional customer satisfaction and service is sustained in the pursuit of logistical efficiency and excellence.

    Legislative compliance should remain paramount whilst on the quest to maximise fleet utilisation and efficiency. The development of the supply chain and how we then engage and procure through that corridor will be essential to the progress of the department and its future success.

    This role is designed to give an enthusiastic, passionate, and progressive individual, an opportunity to use their existing skill set and develop within the Sunbelt Rentals Limited UK operation as it continues to expand within existing and new territories.

    Key Duties include:
    • A progressive logistical operator with the ability to always encourage and administer the core values and culture of the company
    • To continue to professionally develop and to set and achieve objectives through appraisal
    • Responsible and Accountable for the day-to-day management of all logistic operations functions pertinent to ESL
    • Working closely with the ESL Fleet Compliance team to make sure that in house vehicles are compliant with all legal, regulatory and contractual requirements
    • Ultimately responsible for daily vehicle scheduling and routing to ensure maximisation and optimisation of operational efficiency to enable delivery of unrivalled customer satisfaction
    • Maintaining management information to review, assess and implement future progressive strategies
    • Ultimately responsible for the day-to-day management of the logistics supply chain to ensure performance and value are paramount providing full support and guidance to the team
    • Able to manage and influence remote teams who will have a direct and indirect line management reporting line
    • The measurement and management of non-conformances and resolution of such using an appropriate system
    • Understanding of company policies and procedures and management thereof
    • Innovative approach to problem solving and development of services
    • Operational Excellence should be the number one priority to make sure that consistency in customer service and quality is delivered
    • Any other reasonable duty at the request of your line or functional manager
