We have a permanent, full time opportunity for a Driver/Technician to join our branch.

In this role you'll be accountable the delivery, demonstration and collection of equipment to and from customers, suppliers and other Vp businesses. You'll do this professionally, safely and on time.

Aside from delivery, demonstration and collection, you'll service and maintain all equipment to ensure it's ready for hire at our minimum quality standards. Vehicle maintenance will be one of your responsibilities whereby you will need to carry out vehicle checks every morning, which involves checking oil and water levels, lights and tyre tread.

Along with the rest of the team, you will have responsibility for the health and safety within the branch and must make certain the business is compliant with HSE legislation and offers a safe working environment for all.

Skills & Experience required:

• A full UK driving licence
• Candidates for this position must have local knowledge of the area and be flexible in their working hours
• Someone who is IT literate due to some of the technology used
• Effective communicator
• We are ideally looking for applicants with industry experience however this is not essential
