Your role as JCB’s Dealer Development Manager - Used Equipment will be to execute and improve JCB’s global used equipment strategies ensuring that JCB used equipment programmes and activities are in place to deliver increased dealer profitability, improved residual values and additional sales opportunities for machines, parts and service business. You will also be an ambassador for the importance of used equipment within JCB and our dealer network.
You will work with regional teams and Dealer Development to develop used equipment best practice and local dealer plans that deliver growth in line with JCB’s 5 Year Plan. You will also be responsible for maintaining a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape including competitor networks, auctions and UE market developments.
You will initiate the re-launch of JCB’s ‘approved used’ scheme and define and execute a strategy to increase dealer usage of and derived benefits from JCB’s used equipment tools
Working with JCB’s ‘at risk’ dealers, you will contribute to the development of used equipment turnaround plans
You will also identify and develop JCB’s used equipment opportunities regarding emerging engine technologies
You will need to demonstrate a good understanding of UE markets processes and the underlying financial profit/cash aspects of the UE business. You will also need to bring with you experience of dealer development and dealer performance management. It is also critical that you bring a maturity in your communication style and have strong leadership and development skills to ensure you and your team are able to manage a diverse stakeholder group.
