  • We're looking for an Assistant Manager to come and join our Livingston branch on a permanent, full time contract.

    Reporting into the Branch Manager, you will provide support in all areas of internal sales, working with the internal sales teams completing hire transactions, stock takes and administration tasks. If required, you may also be asked to assist with the cover of deliveries and collections, test and run equipment and repair referrals.

    You will manage the hire desk and be the first line of contact for customers, over the counter and on the telephone, so customer service skills and an excellent phone manner is essential.

    Experience & Skills required

    • Management experience would be advantageous
    • Knowledge of Hire Industry is desirable but not essential
    • Knowledge of small tools & equipment is desirable not essential
    • Knowledge of local area
    • Basic level experience in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
    • Valid UK Driving licence
