  • Job Description
  • As a Depot Coordinator, you will be responsible for all coordination related to the successful day to day running of the depot. You will need to interface proactively and professionally with the Depot Manager, Depot Supervisor, Hire Desks, other depots, suppliers and employees in the depot.

    In this role you will support depot operations and the delivery of excellent customer service by accurate processing of information and correspondence to ensure safe on-time deliveries and collections

    As Depot Coordinator you are required to manage the electronic emergency note register to ensure out-of-hours plant movements are controlled and do not present risk of asset loss or failure to charge for plant orders.

    Working with the Depot Supervisor, you will ensure the depot and yard is maintained in a clean and fit for purpose state. You will be responsible for carrying out regular checks to ensure compliance with company standards (including, but not limited to the correct wearing/utilisation of PPE).

    Skills & experience required :


    • Knowledge of the Railway Infrastructure / area/ rail plant preferable
    • Ability to hold a PTS certificate
    • Good I.T Skills & strong communication skills both verbally and on email
