  • To continue our growth Groundforce Bridging have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join the team.

    By identifying, managing, maintaining and developing the strategy to grow revenue with both new and existing customers the right individual will be able to achieve and exceed revenue targets for Groundforce Bridging across key and national accounts covering the whole of the UK.

    You will have field sales experience preferably from a similar sector in construction or be able to demonstrate a relevant background and an excellent working knowledge of construction projects and civil engineering. Developing new sustainable revenue opportunities through specifically identified new customers/market segments will be a crucial part of the role.

    The successful candidate will be a competent sales person with a proven track record of business development who can work autonomously, being able to technically sell a concept and solution. Comfortable conversing and able to build a rapport and relationships with decision makers and influencers on site through to Director level in order to deliver on agreed targets. Having the advantage of being located anywhere in the UK you must be willing to travel

    The role reports directly to our Bridging Director and offers future development potential.

    Knowledge/background


    • Knowledge of the construction industry/civil engineering (preferred)
    • Evidence of account management and proven sales experience (essential)
    • Ability to negotiate orders/contracts at all levels (essential)
    • Comfortable Presenting, influencing, overcoming objections and communicating professionally at all levels
