    What’s the opportunity? 
    Speedy are the UK’s leading tool & equipment hire company, and we’re growing! You’ll be a part of our People Engagement team as Internal Communications Executive.

    The role is full-time, hybrid-flexible working based in the North West of England. The nature of the role means you’ll be working with colleagues all over our organisation, delivering engagement campaigns, internal events and polishing our comms channels.

    Creative copywriter, event management experience, tech savvy, with a positive can-do attitude who is a recent graduate or comms pro looking for a new challenge?

    What you'll need:

     

    • Grade A-C in A-level English (or equivalent)
    • A demonstratable flair for creative copy writing and generating engaging ideas
    • Experience and interest in video production for different audiences, across different platforms
    • Excellent IT skills including use of Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint
    • Excellent English language skills – written and verbal
    • Organised, creative, proactive, strong attention to detail (relating to planning and proof reading)
    • Self-assured and reliable being able to demonstrate confidence in your own knowledge, skills and experience
    • Ability to express complex issues, both orally and in writing, in an easily understood manner for a range of audiences
    • Experience of working collaboratively
    • Strong interpersonal skills with good sense of humour, resilience and can-do attitude
    • Previous work experience such as a year in industry, a part time job or volunteer role
    • Ability to stay calm and work well under pressure to meet deadlines
    • Driver’s license and willingness to travel independently nationwide

     

    Desirable

    • Minimum of a 2:1 degree qualification – ideally in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, PR, Broadcasting
    • 1-2 years’ experience working in a similar role
    • Experience in helping to organise or promote large scale events
    • Interest and/or experience in graphic design, film or photography
    • Good analytic ability – able to interpret data, reports and analytics
