What is an Demonstration Technician Apprenticeship like?

Our experienced team is responsible for maintaining and repairing of the large fleet of machines that reside in JCB Demonstration, ensuring that these machines are kept to a high standard for internal and external demonstrations to our customers. A key part of the role is maintaining strong relationships between the regional sales teams and dealers to increase sales and deliver profitable growth.  

Completing our three year programme is a major achievement. Not just because you’ll have an industry recognised qualification—but because you’ll be in a great role with a lifetime’s worth of career development potential ahead of you.

What will I get out of an Demonstration Technician Apprenticeship?

• Maintenance and repair of the construction and agriculture machine fleet
• Conduct all servicing of the construction and agriculture machine fleet
• Fabrication of components for projects and machines
• Ordering of all spare parts through JCB Service and other suppliers
• Management of all warranty claims for the department
• Be part of the Dancing Digger display team performing at large events and exhibitions
• Valeting of the fleet to ensure that high standards are constantly met with the fleet
• Provide support to our events team with internal and external exhibitions
• Support with family projects within the business

How do I qualify for a JCB Apprenticeship?

You will bring dedication, passion and a real desire to succeed. Possessing strong problem solving, critical thinking and communication skills, with the ability to work as part of a high performing team, you will also be confident working autonomously and will be driven to get results. Working within a fast paced environment means you need to relish a challenge and have a can do attitude.?
