What is an Insurance Practitioner Apprenticeship like?

The 18 month programme is designed to give you the skills and real life experience you need not only to perform your role, but to thrive in it. You’ll work to world-class standards as you build real momentum in your career—and like everything that’s built here—it’ll last a lifetime.

Training on the job and putting new skills into practice, you’ll get down to business straight away, preparing quotations, renewals and endorsements. We’ll also teach you about regulation and compliance so that you can be confident you’re doing everything to the letter of the law. Once you’re confident, you’ll also be given special projects to complete, which will be your chance to really shine.

You’ll be well supported in your learning—our experts will be there to guide you whenever you need and there will be study days to allow you time to complete assessments and learn the theory behind every process and procedure. It’s all about building your confidence—by the end of the programme you’ll be an accomplished member of the team looking forward to a great career.

What will I get out of an Insurance Practitioner Apprenticeship?

Completing the programme will earn you a recognised Level 3 Insurance Practitioner qualification. You’ll also be in a role with a global innovator that takes pride in turning out world class professionals with the skills to really progress in their careers.

There’s also the range of benefits that come with being a JCB employee, including:

    • World-class training facilities
    • Competitive, full-time salary
    • 33 days’ annual holiday (increasing with service)
    • Discounted healthcare
