What you will be doing
We have a job opportunity for an Account Manager to join us to increase the hire revenue and product utilisation working existing and new customers in the West of London region.
Within this role you will be required to retain, develop, and increase the relationships with the targeted account base and lead on projects to increase customer awareness of the benefits of using MEP Hire and other Vp Group businesses.
The role requires a tenacious Account Manager with the ability to not only meet but exceed revenue targets through the development of existing key accounts prospects and national customers.
The role is a mix of account management and construction project development. You will be required to develop new business by adding value through best practice, product innovation and specialism. Presentations and demonstrations will be required with target customers.
Do you have what it takes
Candidates for this role must have proven sales experience, ideally within a construction related sector although this is not essential.
You should have the ability to build long lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with prospective customers and have a confident and persuasive nature when presenting and demonstrating.
We are looking for a candidate who is eager to develop their knowledge of the organisation, its people and its services and who also seeks to improve their own skills throughout their career.
A degree of IT literacy is required along with the ability to manage your time effectively by setting clear objectives.
