    About the Role

    To sustain the growth of our business an opportunity has arisen for an Account Executive in our Sales Team.

    Supported by internal telemarketing resource, the role has responsibility mainly for securing new clients but also servicing insurance renewals as necessary nationwide.

    Main Responsibilities of the Role

    • Accurately obtain, assess and present all information necessary regarding prospects / clients and their insurances to enable colleagues to approach the insurance market, prepare quotations and secure new and existing business.
    • Achieve new business income objectives
    • Achieve renewal retention objectives
    • Ensure all FCA rules and company policies and procedures are fully complied with.

    About You

    Ideally you will have at least 3 years’ experience in Commercial Insurance, preferably with a Broker. Cert CII would be preferred although not essential.

    You will possess excellent interpersonal and sales skills and the ability to quickly build rapport with prospects and clients.

    You will be able to understand a prospect / clients’ business and assess their attitude to risk, then collect all of the relevant information to enable us to design an insurance proposal that fits their needs as closely and competitively as possible.

    You should have a passion for customer service and the ability to work both independently and as part of a Team.

    You will need a keen eye for accuracy and detail, even when under pressure.

    You should be skilled in MS Office applications (Word, Excel)

    Candidates should be able to demonstrate a high level of commitment, flexibility and enthusiasm and well as a sense of urgency and drive to achieve their personal objectives as well as the overall company’s goals.
