    HRSS Team Leader - Haydock- Monday to Friday - 8:30am-17:00pm

    The HRSS Team Leader will be responsible for leading, managing and driving the performance of the HR Admin Team within the HR Department, to deliver an excellent employee experience in a high quality, timely and customer focussed manner.

    The HRSS Team Leader will also be responsible for the day-to-day workload management of the team, whilst supporting on the improvement and scoping of new technologies to support the business as it grows, as well as defining standards and policies in conjunction with the wider HR Team.

    A hybrid working model is available as at Speedy we’re empowering our people to balance their time between home, travel and our Haydock office in a way that works best for them. 

    What you’ll need:

    • Strong experience in HR Service/People Services environments
    • Strong generalist HR knowledge gained from a fast-paced organisation
    • Strong experience managing a team providing lifecycle services
    • Strong people management skills within a measured performance environment
    • Highly skilled in prioritisation and organisation of yours and other workloads
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Excellent customer service skills

    KEY COMPETENCIES / CAPABILITIES

    • An experienced people manager, with substantial experience gained in a fast-paced transactional environment, coupled with strong HR legislation and best practice knowledge
    • Customer focus and value driven approach in providing HR services
    • CIPD – Level 5 (Preferred), although Level 3 would be considered for the right candidate
    • A change-champion who embraces change, and are a natural “out of the box” thinker
    • Experience of supporting LEAN improvements on a medium-large scale
    •  A confident communicator, with the ability to tailor communication methods to a diverse audience
    • Able to prioritise a multi-channel workload, through the allocation of work to your team, whilst identifying trends and constantly reviewing performance
    • A pragmatic approach to problem solving, combined with a solid understanding of root-cause analysis
    • Strong IT Skills
