We are now looking for a Customer Hire Controller to join the team at Tamworth. Your responsibilities will include providing quotes and placing orders with our external customers. The role will also include liaising with our depot colleagues and account managers to ensure that all requests are dealt with efficiently and effectively.

We are looking for someone who is able to offer excellent attention to detail, who is extremely customer and colleague focused. This is a busy and fast paced team, handling a high volume of customer requirements. It’s important that you can work independently but also play a big part in a team. You will need to be able to manage your workload in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring that our customer and company SLAs are maintained.

Skills & experience required

• You will be educated to a good level, and have excellent communication skills, especially over the telephone and through email
• Previous experience of providing customer service is essential
• IT skills are essential for the role, and knowledge of the hire industry would be beneficial, however full training will be provided.
• Approachable and friendly, willing to learn and support your colleagues
