    Our Flagship branch in Northampton on Harvey Reeves Road is looking for an Internal Customer Sales Executive to join their senior sales team. You’ll be on the front line dealing with our customers that come into our branch, playing a vital role in our continued success, providing a first class service and keeping colleagues and customers safe at all times.

    Northampton is a very busy branch with a footfall of over 300 customers a day.  We have a team of 64 colleagues and 13 delivery vehicles, as well as a busy Tool Hire and Benchmarx department, the Branch Manager has created a fun and professional environment, so you will be in great hands.

    Hours - We are looking for a full time colleague working 42.5hrs per week.  Our opening hours are Monday to Friday 7.00am - 5pm and Saturdays 7.30am - 12pm, but you will only need to work 2 in 4 Saturdays.  We are flexible on hours, this can be discussed at interview stage.

    What will I be doing?
    No one day is the same as the next in TP branch life, and now that you have a new found knowledge of our products, here are a few pointers:

    • Our success is built on strong relationships with our customers so it’s essential that you can help deliver the highest standards of service - the key thing is to be helpful and friendly, you will likely get to know our customers on a first name basis.
    • You’ll handle requests via the phone and email, providing information on our products, preparing quotes and negotiating contracts with suppliers, taking our sales from good to great.
    • You'll also be responsible for ensuring the safe and correct movement of our products around the branch. 
    • Safety is at the forefront of everything we do, your aim will be to ensure that our standards never slip, by adhering to all stay safe policies and procedures.

    What experience do you need?
    This is a key customer facing role, you just need the ability to provide great customer service, we can teach you the rest.
