  • We are looking for a passionate driven individual who will be responsible for coordinating customer equipment hire requests. Working within the Managed Hires Team, located in our Blackpool Head Office you will be dealing with national rehire enquiries, whilst liaising with depots partners alike.

    To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate customer service skills be willing to go the extra mile to help maintain develop meaningful long term relationships with our customers.

    The Key responsibilities of the Sales Administrator are;

    • To deal with all inbound rehire enquiries efficiently via online forms, email phone from first contact through to completion of the Hire contract, delivery collection.
    • Procure hire equipment from our National partners in order to meet our customers’ requirements deadlines.
    • Prepare quotes accurately in a timely manner when requested by customer sales person.
    • Keep supplier database up to date.
    • To be highly literate skilled in email communications general admin processes.
    • Ensure full utilisation of Smiths own fleet where possible in the Northwest region.
    • You should be able to “think on your feet” demonstrate excellent problem solving skills. You must also be well organised have good time management skills whilst working well under pressure.
    • We need someone who is competent in using MS Office packages, who is self-managed, but can work as part of a dedicated team take pride in their customer service skills. Attention to detail is essential.

    This is a full time, permanent position in an exciting expanding team. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm, rotational Saturdays 8am – 12pm.
