  • We are currently looking for a Senior Transport Scheduler to join our busy team at Engineered Access. In 2016, the two market-leading Trakway companies in the UK merged together and have since enjoyed further and significant investment in hire equipment. As such, the business needs to enhance the logistics scheduling function to ensure appropriate hire utilisation and where necessary, expand in to new regions and territories to successfully grow the business and deliver a return on investment.

    This role is designed to give an enthusiastic and passionate individual, an opportunity to use their existing skill set and develop within the business as it continues to expand, supporting the business’ cradle to grave approach.

    This pivotal role helps to compliment the service provision of the Engineered Access logistical and depot network ensuring that all departments are working collaboratively whilst delivering exceptional customer satisfaction and service. The key for success is to be best in class and drive continual improvement whilst striving for operational excellence.

    Key Areas of Responsibility:
    • To continue to professionally develop and to set and achieve objectives through appraisal
    • Responsible and Accountable for the day-to-day management of all UK and Ireland operations functions
    • Working closely with the ESL Fleet Compliance Co-ordinator make sure that in house vehicles are compliant with all legal, regulatory and contractual requirements
    • Ultimately responsible for daily vehicle routes to ensure maximisation and optimisation of operational efficiency to enable delivery of unrivalled customer satisfaction
    • Maintaining management information to review, assess and implement future progressive strategies
    • Ultimately responsible for the day-to-day management of the operational supply chain to ensure performance and value are paramount providing full support and guidance to the Operations Co-ordinator
    • Able to manage remote teams throughout the UK and to a highly customer focussed standard and at all times
    • Ultimately responsible for the management of depots in the UK and Ireland to make sure that this day-to-day support operation remains current and progressive to ensure operational excellence is paramount
    • The measurement and management of non-conformances and resolution of such using an appropriate system
    • Conducting HR related matters in relation to conduct, performance and wellbeing.
    • Innovation for all aspects of the area of responsibility to keep the business as a front runner in its industry
    • Operational Excellence should be the number one priority to make sure that consistency in customer service and quality is delivered
    • Management of KPIs
