    We are currently looking to recruit an Internal IT Support Technician to join our busy, growing IT Support team to provide first and second line support. Working from our Support offices in Castle Donington, you will be part of a small but expanding team offering IT support to all AFI employees.


    The role in brief:

    --You will be readily available to answer the phone to colleagues in a professional, efficient and helpful manner.

    --You will provide first line and second line support, over the phone, email, desk side and remotely.

    --You will support a variety of software applications, such as Microsoft Office 2016, Microsoft CRM, InspHire, Sage200, Microsoft 365 & BigChange.

    --You will offer help and support to over 400 users with varying hardware; from PCs, Laptops, Tablets, PDAs and Mobile Phones.

    --You will be responsible for the Company’s various processes and improving them.

    --The role will involve occasional project work and travel to different AFI locations may be required.

    -- A mixture of working in the office and from home. (During probation, it will be full time in the office)



    -- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Applications.

    -- Experience of working on a Service Desk either at first line or second line level.

    -- Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

    -- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory & Group Policy.

    -- Must be enthusiastic, keen to learn and enjoy working as part of a team.

    -- be able to work under your own initiative, be punctual and reliable.


    -- Previous experience of producing and improving process documentation

    -- Knowledge of InspHire, BigChange or Microsoft CRM.

    -- Knowledge of Microsoft Intune or Samsung KNOX.

    -- Previous experience of using ManageEngine MDM or ServiceDesk Plus
