    As our Hire Fleet Asset Manager you will manage our business life blood, our Hire Fleet assets. You will deliver effective management of the whole of our ESS fleet to ensure availability of equipment and that products meet customer and regulatory needs. Put simply, Right Kit, Right Place

    In this role you will also identify and appraise new product ranges whilst also considering technical and logistical requirements in bringing them on-board. This will include ensuring developing CAPEX business cases, on-boarding of products and monitoring their success and potential for future markets growth.

    We are looking for an individual with a proven track record of operating in the hire industry where you will have expertise in managing assets in a business to include the ability to deliver precise and accurate reporting. You will be organised and able to meet challenging deadlines and understand the importance of the customer experience.

    Given the size and scale of our national hire fleet, this is a senior role reporting directly to the Divisional Director and sitting on the Divisional Leadership Team.

    Knowledge/background/skills we require:

    • Extensive experience in a Hire or asset management role
    • Expert knowledge of finance and CAPEX business case development
    • Knowledge of Survey and/or Safety industry desirable, but not essential
    • Advanced IT competency skills – MS Excel, Access, ERP and reporting systems
    • Advanced management reporting competency skills – up to Board level audience
    • Management/supervisory experience desirable, but not essential
    • Problem solving and analytical skills
    • Ability to work as part of a team
    • Strong decision making skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Ability to prioritise workloads and meet challenging deadlines
    • Be confident in communicating difficult messages to people of all levels
    • Valid driving licence
