    Overview of the HR Business Partner Role:

    We currently have an excellent opportunity for a HR Business Partner to join the HR operations team at our World Headquarters in Staffordshire.

    In addition to focussing on strategic projects, employee relations and operational activities, we are seeking a HR professional who is ambitious, keen to develop and works to high standards providing a first-class service to the organisation.

    Your Responsibilities as a HR Business Partner:

    • Operate as a key member of the HR leadership team to support the delivery of commercial business goals and growth plans.
    • A change agent who displays a consultative approach to HR solutions that help deliver great people and business performance
    • Working within a unionised environment to manage complex and challenging ER issues, working in partnership with local management team.
    • Support projects across HR including the ongoing digitisation of HR and internal communications
    • Support senior stakeholders to develop robust functional people plans for attraction and retention of employees.
    • To coach and support line managers in relation to HR matters whilst advising them on current / new employment legislation and employment impacts
    • Partner with the Global Learning team to support Early Careers and Talent management plans across all business areas.
    • Work collaboratively within HR to ensure the HR operations functions is fully aligned with Occupational Health, Early Careers and Pension & Benefits.
    • Support the business ‘Wellbeing strategy’ and ensure that all business areas have a clear action plan to support employees in all matters relating to mental and physical health
    • Working alongside the contingent labour supplier, ensure that operational recruitment requirements are clearly understood and achieved to deliver business objectives.
    • Use strong commercial acumen to identify opportunities of improving business performance through people processes.

    About you:

    The successful Human Resources Business Partner should ideally be a graduate, with at least part CIPD qualification and detailed knowledge of employment legislation and best practice. Ideally the candidate should have experience of working within a unionised manufacturing or logistics environment with the ability to develop and establish stakeholder relationships and influence on HR / business matters.
