    Our businesses offer the rental and sale of specialist products and associated services to a diverse range of end markets, including construction, civil engineering, rail, energy, outdoor events and housebuilding.

    Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Supervisor, your responsibilities will include maximising cash collections through the effective application of the company’s credit policy. In addition to investigating and resolving any queries and discrepancies within agreed timescales.

    We are looking for a candidate with excellent communication skills and experience of credit control. You will build effective relationships both internally and externally and be used to a vibrant and fast paved work environment.

    Working in a fast paced environment, this is high volume collections which requires tenacious and confident customer service skills. You will manage your own allocated ledger and also that of your team, working alongside the credit control team to achieve reduced debtor days, prevent legal escalations and resolve queries quickly and effectively.

    Skills & experience required


    • Accountable for your allocated ledger
    • Manage the collections and resolution of debt and individual queries
    • Reducing aged debt profile
    • Reduction of debt over 90 days
    • Unallocated cash
    • Processing of credit card payments
    • GCSE Math & English
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programmes
    • Experience of using and creating pivot tables and lookups is desirable
