    As a Driver/Technician, you will be accountable the delivery, demonstration and collection of equipment to and from customers, suppliers and other Vp businesses professionally, safely and on time. This includes the receipt, preparation, testing and despatching of equipment.

    The role requires an effective communicator, who can alert the line manager to new sites and potential new customers. Aside from delivery, demonstration and collection, you will service and maintain all equipment to ensure it is ready for hire at our minimum quality standards. Vehicle maintenance will be one of your responsibilities whereby you will need to carry out vehicle checks every morning, which involves checking oil and water levels, lights and tyre tread.

    You will have responsibility for the health and safety within the branch and you must make certain that the business is compliant with HSE legislation and offers a safe working environment for the branch team as a whole but also for individuals.

    Skills & experience required:


    • Effective communicator
    • Candidates for this position must have local knowledge of the area and be flexible in their working hours
    • Someone who is IT literate due to some of the technology used
    • A full UK driving licence
    • We are ideally looking for applicants with industry experience however this is not essential
